AI Use & Limitations
Scalerra is AI-native. We want you to understand exactly what that means — what the AI does, what it cannot do, and the protections around it.
Effective June 1, 2026
1. What the AI does
Scalerra uses AI to weigh evidence about your deals, prepare you for meetings, draft suggestions, and surface the single highest-leverage next action with the reasoning behind it. It is built to help you decide and act — it does not act on your behalf without you.
2. AI can make mistakes
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. It may misread a signal or draw a wrong conclusion. Treat every suggestion as decision support to verify — not as fact, and not as legal, financial, or professional advice. You remain in control of and responsible for your decisions.
3. Human oversight, always
Nothing the AI proposes is executed automatically. You accept, dismiss, defer, or edit every suggestion. When confidence is low, the product is designed to stay silent or say so honestly rather than fabricate certainty. You can correct it, and your corrections are treated as the highest-trust input.
4. Your data is not used to train models
We do not use your data to train our models, and we do not allow providers to train their foundation models on your content. Your content is sent to model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) through the Vercel AI Gateway only to generate your specific result, and is not retained by us for training.
5. No surveillance of people
Scalerra does not score, rank, or profile people. It reasons about the state of work— deals, readiness, risk — never about a person's behavior or performance. There is no data path that would let a manager use the AI to monitor an individual.
6. Transparency and provenance
Where the AI surfaces a conclusion, you can ask why and see the evidence and recency behind it. We show our reasoning rather than asking you to trust a black box.
7. EU AI Act
We are committed to the principles of the EU AI Act: transparency that you are interacting with AI, meaningful human oversight, appropriate risk management, and clear communication of limitations. As the Act's obligations phase in, we will continue to align our practices and update this page.
